CONCURRENT is an exhibition considering the Hudson River as metaphor for the experiences of Black and Indigenous people, and other People of Color.
The visual and performing artists in CONCURRENT document, interrogate, celebrate, and memorialize experiences of code switching, moving between worlds and identities, and the ability to respond to external pressures while remaining true to themselves and their cultural roots.
